The Traidcraft coffee morning is held on the first Saturday of every month and runs from 10:30 am till 12 noon at the Benefice Hall next to All Saints' Church, Wickhambrook. There is plenty of car parking space across the road in All Saints' Church Car Park.

Please feel free to drop by for a cup of coffee or tea and biscuits and the opportunity to buy some of the excellent Traidcraft produce, which includes teas, coffee, chocolate, biscuits, and a great deal more … It is also an excellent opportunity to stop and have a chat with other people from the village, so why not come along.

Profit from Traidcraft goods sold goes to Palestinians through the charity Embrace the Middle East - https://embraceme.org.

Following on from the motion passed by the Diocesan Synod in November 2004, St Edmundsbury and Ipswich has now become a "Fairtrade Diocese".

Traidcraft background

Established in 1979 as a Christian response to poverty, Traidcraft combine a trading company and a development charity.

The Traidcraft vision is a world freed from the scandal of poverty, where trade is just, and people and communities can flourish.

Traidcraft pioneers the development of fair trade by:

  • building lasting relationships with small-scale producers in developing countries
  • supporting people to trade out of poverty
  • working to bring about trade justice
  • being open and transparent about our practices

Traidcraft ceased trading in January 2023, but our coffee morning continues.
